Arby 'n' the Chief is my second favorite series of all time, right after Batman: The Animated Series. So eventually I was going to make fan art based on it. And here it is.
Being as sort of a poster for the latest season where the Arbiter and the child-minded Master Chief have to stop an infamous hacker clan Chaos Theosis from tearing down the Online Multiplayer Network within Halo Reach with their irreversible console ban hacks.
Season 6 is my favorite season so far However for this particular art piece, I wanted to try out other photo/picture editing tools usable in GIMP 2. The only things that I actually painted myself are Clyde (the giant Elite on the background) and Greg (briefly noticeable between the Arbiter and Chief). Everyone else is taken from the videos via photo edit It may be shameless, I admit. But it was a feature I wanted to try out on GIMP 2.
Also those who watch the series may notice that the Chaos Theosis members (above the Arbiter, Master Chief, Greg and Claire), are placed there to recreate the ''Shit List'' from Episode 9 ''Remission''.
I wanted to create this ''poster'' to recap the season and I think I did rather fairly good in that, but meh dunno Done in GIMP 2, I worked on it slowly like 2 weeks or so - I've had a lot of school work to do. I even sent it to Hypermail for Jon CJG (Digitalph33r, the creator of the series) to see.
So I hope you all like this one
By the way, if you haven't seen the series yet. Seriously check it out on Youtube. It's so amazing and funny
February 4th 2012 update: The picture is featured on Arby 'n' the Chief wikia! [link]
No he didn't. He must have been receiving thousands of emails to fill his mailbox anyways, so it doesn't bother me ^^ As long as he got to see it, that's what matters. Very excited to see the season finale. It's coming out this Saturday, if Jon doesn't run into any obstacles That guy is working his ass off to entertain us, kudos to him And thank you for your feedback
Pity Jon didn't put this on Hypermail, or did he? I didn't really follow that series as much as the story episodes
And thank you for your feedback
