However for this particular art piece, I wanted to try out other photo/picture editing tools usable in GIMP 2. The only things that I actually painted myself are Clyde (the giant Elite on the background) and Greg (briefly noticeable between the Arbiter and Chief). Everyone else is taken from the videos via photo edit 
It may be shameless, I admit. But it was a feature I wanted to try out on GIMP 2. Done in GIMP 2, I worked on it slowly like 2 weeks or so - I've had a lot of school work to do. I even sent it to Hypermail for Jon CJG (Digitalph33r, the creator of the series) to see.
